VOLUNTEER

Volunteering is a great way for someone, anyone, of able body to engage fully with ranch life. This immersion builds involvement and education among family and friends as the ranch continues to evolve and to prioritize stewardship of the land.

Volunteers are welcome throughout the year. Work by volunteer teams is primarily orchestrated by ranch Resource Manager Joshua Miner and varies highly from season to season and from day to day. In recent years, to mention a few examples, volunteers have painted interiors at the Marshall House, weeded the Marshall House yard, built “one-rock dams” and other structures to improve water retention in Wolf Creek, and run heavy equipment in a forest-thinning project in the Turkey Mountains. Room and board are provided to all resident volunteers. Please contact Joshua at Joshua@thefortunionranch.com with any questions or to learn about upcoming opportunities.
